The City of Dawson Creek’s Annual Report for 2024 has been prepared and is now available for public inspection. The report can be viewed at City Hall, located at 10105 12A Street, upstairs in the Administration Department during regular business hours. It is also available for viewing on the website at: 2024 Annual Report.

The Dawson Creek Emergency Reception Centre hours and locations are changing over the next few days in order to continue assisting evacuees. 

1. Saturday, June 14, 2025:

• Closed

   2. Sunday, June 15, 2025 (Renewal Day):

• Open 10:00 to 14:00hrs

Heavy Rainfall Expected - City of Dawson Creek Encourages Residents to Prepare

Dawson Creek, BC – The City of Dawson Creek is letting residents know that heavy rain is expected in the next few days. While the rain is helpful due to the recent dry weather, it could also lead to flooding in some areas, especially low-lying spots. City crews are keeping a close eye on the situation and getting things ready in case there is a lot of water runoff. Residents are encouraged to take steps to protect their property as well.

Dawson Creek Reception Centre is open for evacuees from Kelly Lake, One Island Lake, and the Tumbler Ridge apartment fire.
